There are plenty of situation that require short-term access to top management talent. You might need a vacuum to be filled following the unforeseen departure of a key member of staff. Or you might need some specialist expertise to drive through a critical project like the implementation of a new IT system.

Philip explains the ins-and-outs of interim management, how they differ from consultants and other temporary staff and what sort of people make good interim managers.
